Doxa Lefkadas – Aris
Aris travels to Lefkada with boosted morale after the big 101-91 victory over Panathinaikos, which brought them to 4-1. Vassilis Spanoulis' team also needs to manage the burden of its European obligations.
Doxa also comes from a significant result, having won 73-59 at Mykonos' home. The hosts have proven they can create problems, so Aris needs focus to confirm its improved performance.
Kolossos Rodou – Peristeri
Both teams are looking for a reaction in Rhodes. Kolossos lost 81-65 to Karditsa and dropped to 2-3, while Peristeri suffered a heavy 91-62 defeat to Olympiacos.
The Rhodians rely heavily on their home court, where they have achieved both of their victories. Peristeri, on the other hand, wants to return to good performances and maintain its high position.
Iraklis – Mykonos
A game of particular importance in terms of standings at Ivanofeio, as Iraklis and Mykonos each have one win in five matchdays. The Thessalonians made it difficult for PAOK, but lost 63-53, paying for their offensive inefficiency.
Mykonos comes from an away defeat against Doxa Lefkadas and is looking for a result that will allow them to move away from the bottom positions. This is a match where the result is more important than the performance.
Promitheas Patras – Karditsa
Promitheas returned from Marousi empty-handed, suffering their fourth defeat in five matchdays. The Patras team needs an immediate reaction so as not to lose touch with the playoff spots early on.
Karditsa is in a much better condition and comes from an 81-65 victory over Kolossos. However, they remain without an away win and will seek to change this performance in Patras.
PAOK – Vikos Ioanninon
PAOK is the only team at the top without a points deduction, having achieved five wins in as many matchdays. After the 63-53 victory over Iraklis, the "Double-headed Eagle of the North" also defeated Roma 113-111 in the EuroCup, thanks to a basket by Ben Moore at the end.
Vikos, however, travels to Thessaloniki after their first and particularly impressive 95-84 victory against AEK. PAOK is the favorite, but Ioannina's performance in the previous matchday does not allow for complacency.
AEK – Panathinaikos
The most important game of the matchday will be held at SUNEL Arena. AEK needs to react after the defeat to Vikos Ioanninon, having, however, passed 72-66 mid-week at Szombathely's home for the Basketball Champions League.
Panathinaikos wants to put behind them their first domestic defeat, the 101-91 loss to Aris. The "greens" showed an immediate reaction in the Euroleague, winning 115-112 against Real Madrid in overtime, but they go to SUNEL Arena after a demanding European game.
Marousi – Olympiacos
Marousi celebrated their first league victory against Promitheas and wants to be competitive against the champion. Their mission, however, is particularly demanding.
Olympiacos remains unbeaten with a 5-0 record and has the best point difference in the competition. In the previous matchday, they defeated Peristeri 91-62, confirming the quality and depth of their roster. The goal for Giorgos Bartzokas' team is to manage fatigue and continue without losses.
