Aris leaves behind the match against Panathinaikos and turns all its attention to tomorrow's top derby with Hapoel Jerusalem.
Aris leaves behind the match against Panathinaikos and turns all its attention to tomorrow's top derby with Hapoel Jerusalem. The "yellows" face the Israeli team on Wednesday, November 4, at 21:00, in Belgrade, for the 6th matchday of the EuroCup.
Top derby with Hapoel
Aris and Hapoel are the only undefeated teams in Group A, counting five wins in as many games. Their match at "Hala Sportova Ranko Zeravica" has particular importance in terms of standings, as the two teams show that they will compete until the end for first place and the advantage that accompanies it in the next phase.
Tuesday's (3/11) schedule includes a midday training session at "Nick Galis Hall" and then the departure of the mission for the Serbian capital. The limited preparation time is now a common condition for Vassilis Spanoulis' team, due to successive obligations in Greece and Europe.
From Belgrade directly to Lefkada
After the game with Hapoel, the mission will not return to Thessaloniki. Aris will travel to Athens and on Friday will continue its journey to Lefkada.
There they will face Doxa on Saturday, November 7, at 15:00, for the 6th matchday of the Stoiximan GBL. This is another demanding away test, which follows just three days after the European derby.
Jovic returns
In terms of the game, Stefan Jovic is expected to return to the squad and offer an additional solution in the perimeter. In contrast, Lefteris Bochoridis is not yet ready, with his return being postponed until next week. No other returns are expected ahead of the match in Belgrade.
