Andrea Trinchieri's team prevailed 63-53 over Iraklis and maintained their perfect record in the Greek championship. PAOK reached five wins in as many games and remained at the top of the standings, relying once again on their defensive operation.
Iraklis started the derby better and led 17-15, but the visitors closed the first period ahead 19-17 and never lost the lead again. The difference opened in the second half and reached up to 12 points, with PAOK managing the last ten minutes correctly.
Top scorer was Marcus Foster with 17 points and three successful three-pointers. Cedi Osman added 12 points, while Brin Tairi completed the match with nine. The quarters: 17-19, 31-34, 42-47, 53-63.

Tonight's European battle with Roma
The preparation time was limited, as PAOK hosts Roma tonight, Tuesday, November 3, at "PAOK Sports Arena". The tip-off is scheduled for 20:00 and the match for the 6th game of the EuroCup will be broadcast by Novasports Prime.
The "Double-headed Eagle" has a 3-2 record in the fourth group and wants to return to European victories after the 84-81 defeat by Bahcesehir in Turkey. The standings remain highly competitive, as four teams are at 3-2, while the leader Bahcesehir has a 4-1 record.
Roma is at 2-3 and comes from an 85-80 home defeat by Bosnia Sarajevo for the EuroCup. In the Italian championship, however, they showed their offensive capabilities by prevailing 103-90 over Scafati.
Andrea Trinchieri placed particular emphasis on tactics and defense during the last practice. Roma has players with great offensive quality, such as Mannion, Olinyk and Simonovic, which makes it necessary to control the pace and limit the creation of the Italians.
Next obligation with Vikos Ioanninon
After Roma, PAOK will remain in Thessaloniki for another home game. On Saturday, November 7, at 17:30, they will host Vikos Ioanninon for the 6th game of the Stoiximan GBL.
The goal of the "black and whites" is to reach 6/6 and maintain their position at the top of the championship. The game, however, requires attention, as Vikos comes from their historic first victory in the top division, prevailing 95-84 over AEK in Ioannina.
PAOK has two consecutive games ahead of them at "Palataki" with different demands. Initially, they want to strengthen their position in the EuroCup group and then protect the unbeaten record they have built in the first games of the Stoiximan GBL.
