Having a significant advantage from the first game, OFI managed the pace of the match exceptionally well. In the 28th minute, Aitor Cantalapiedra's goal was disallowed after a VAR review. However, the visitors' superiority bore fruit in the 36th minute, when Thiago Nous, after a pass from Achilleas Poungouras, sent the ball into the net for 0-1, laying strong foundations for the victory.
Theodosoulakis sealed the victory
In the second half, the hosts tried to react by making substitutions, but OFI remained compact and dangerous on counter-attacks. The confirmation of the Cretans' superiority came in the 78th minute: Giannis Theodosoulakis, a few minutes after entering the game, capitalized on Giannis Apostolakis's pass and made it the final 0-2.
