Levadiakos – Aris 3-0: First victory with an impressive performance for the Boeotians

Levadiakos defeated Aris 3-0 at "Lambros Katsonis" for the 9th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League, celebrating their first victory in this year's championship. The Boeotians also scored their first goals in the competition, with Nikas, Vihos, and Pantea, ending the Thessaloniki team's streak of three consecutive victories.

Nikas and Vihos laid the foundations

The hosts opened the scoring in just the 8th minute, after a beautiful collaboration. Elneny found Kostis, who immediately passed the ball to Nikas, and the latter beat Velio with a diagonal finish for 1-0.

Aris tried to respond through possession, but Levadiakos remained more dangerous in their attacks. In the 27th minute, Popescu threatened from Nikas' cross, but Velio blocked. The second goal came in the 42nd minute, when Vihos successfully converted the penalty earned by Kobnan from the visiting goalkeeper, making it 2-0 at halftime.

Aris found no answer, Pantea sealed the score

In the second half, the "yellow-blacks" tried to be more aggressive and threatened with a shot from Kadewere, which went wide. A little later, Hongla initially received a red card for fouling Kobnan. However, after reviewing the phase with VAR, the dismissal was canceled, as an offensive foul on Soutalo had preceded it.

Despite Aris' increased possession, the hosts maintained their defensive cohesion and continued to find space on counter-attacks. Kobnan missed chances for a third goal, before Pantea definitively ended the match in the 87th minute. Emmanouilidis crossed the ball from the right and his teammate scored from close range for the final 3-0.
