Ferencvaros' attacking form strikes again, this time against Celtic

Ferencvaros continued its outstanding European campaign. After defeating Trabzonspor in the playoff round, the Hungarian side also got the better of Celtic in the opening match of the Europa League league phase, winning 3-1 away in Glasgow.

Celtic conceded three goals for the second consecutive match, having suffered the same fate against Rangers just days earlier. The home side actually started the match well, but once again showed defensive vulnerabilities. Bamidele Yusuf opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Celtic pulled one back shortly before halftime, but just moments later, in first-half stoppage time, they conceded again, with Ferencvaros heading into the break with the advantage.

The home side tried to change things up after the break, but the Hungarian side struck again in the 47th minute with a superb strike that effectively settled the match. Celtic came closest to a second goal in the following minutes, but the visitors had little trouble holding on to their lead until the final whistle.
