OFI won 1-0 at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium thanks to a goal from Kenan Kodro in the 66th minute. The Bosnian striker capitalized on a pass from Nikolaos Athanasiou and beat goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
The result was far from undeserved, as the islanders started strongly and even had a goal disallowed for offside. Olympiacos missed several chances but ultimately managed only four shots on target against the visitors — the exact same number OFI's players registered. On top of that, the Crete side didn't pick up a single yellow card throughout the match.
